Sri M – “As far as information on spiritual matters is concerned, it comes from the Rig Veda which is one of the earliest and oldest in the world. Most of the parts of the Rig veda are hymns sung by the rishis. In fact, they are hymns, partly because the truth cannot be expressed in prose. In the Rig Veda, it is set in tunes which are called ‘chandas’ or meters.
